If we never talked about it some facts can be buried. Israel has its own media units in Mosad and also in the army and they pay billions of dollars to spread their narration which is incorrect most of the times. All Palestinians have is the sincere sympathy from millions of social media activists who carry their narration to the world. However everyone speaking about the conflict is not necessarily beneficial unless if they rely on knowledge and do proper research just like your story does. But speaking up is critical to bring conflict to the surface especially when there is a confrontation and innocent victims. If not for the social media we would never know about Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and people in the west will think that Palestinians are the ones who started the violence not the Israeli police. Sorry for the long reply but it can’t be less. At the end I want to say that all I have for jewish people in the world and for you is love and peace, because I do differentiate between jewism and zionism, and we saw that many of the protests at the barriers of Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood were Israelis. But we should always remember that victims are not just numbers and we can’t pretend that we feel the pain of a boy who grow up without a house, family, or country. Regards
